| The ceremonial groundbreaking for IMEA’s new headquarters took place September 19. Shown with the traditional gold shovels are from left to right: Immediate Past Board President Tim Birk of Waterloo, Secretary/Treasurer Bryan McInturff of Winnetka, Board President Greg Hazel of Rantoul, General Manager & CEO Ronald D. Earl, Executive Board Member George Smith of Marshall, Vice President Del McCord of Chatham, and Executive Board Member Terry Draper of Mascoutah. Unable to attend were Executive Board Member Rick Hardesty of Farmer City, Executive Board Member Rick Abell of Metropolis and Building Committee Member Mike Collins of Bethany.
